Species

There are a variety of species, including largemouth, smallmouth, spotted bass. Given that we fish all over Texas, there are a variety of lakes. From lowland lakes where largemouth are the predominant species, and highland lakes where you can catch both largemouth and smallmouth bass. Spotted bass can be found in both lakes.

Accessibility

Our tournament schedule has a variety of locations to which we can travel to. Some tournaments are out of state, being over 1000 miles one way, which can be expensive financially. Tarleton bass club does reimburse the top 6 teams, which allows them the opportunity to travel out of state.

Community

There are currently 71 members, 2 of which are girls. (I, myself, Carson Dugger being one of them). Traveling together builds a close bond between teammates, I have met some of my closest friends on the bass team. Outside of our tournaments, we hold club meetings and club tournaments. Our club tournaments are open for the public, which brings a lot of people in. Having these events has helped us have a stronger community.

Hangouts

Stephenville is a small town and there isn’t a lot to do. Fuzzy’s would have to be the number one spot we go to all hang out.
