TOURNAMENT FOR A CAUSE
Join us for the inaugural Lagoonigan, a one-day fishing tournament benefiting Mosquito Lagoon. $150 a team (up to 3 people). All proceeds will be donated to the Marine Discovery Center in Mosquito Lagoon for habitat restoration projects and education programs.
The Mission
Mosquito Lagoon is not what it once was. While it's still beautiful, wild, and holds fish, it is no longer the redfish capital of the world as claimed in years past. This is due to many factors, including water quality and habitat degradation.
The lagoon needs help - Money, resources, and science. We’re hoping one day of catch-and-release fishing can help fund a better future for the lagoon so our children can fish the 2050 Lagoonigan!
The Cause
All proceeds will be donated to the Marine Discovery Center in New Smyrna to fund educational youth programs and conservation initiatives.
