HOW WE FISH
Here at Bajío we like to catch our own fish. An unguided bluegill might just beat a musky hooked and handed to you. We love the chase, the challenge, the disappointment, and the pride that comes with getting it on our own. So this is where we did our last photoshoot. We think y’all might like it too.
The Lodge
Cayo Frances is an off-grid yet accessible island camp just off San Pedro. It’s a boat-in, generator-powered, fishing outpost. If you don’t fish, this ain’t the spot for you. Once you’re there everything is taken care of, all you need to focus on is the nearest bonefish.
The Frames You Need To Fish It
The flats are vicious, they eat cheap lenses and break down budget eyewear. First light gives you the best odds, high sun gives you the best vision, and last light makes cinema out of nature. You’ll need a lens for each.
