Mardi Gras is all about loading up. The last day of Shrovetide, Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday), is named as such "because people felt bloated having eaten up all the rich foods before Lent." 

We usually head to the Pelican state to load up on redfish, po'boys, and maybe a few boot bombs if offered. You can keep the beads, give us a slicked-out shell beach morning, a 10wt, and a few big boys floating. That’ll do.
