What do I need to order Prescription Bajio’s?

To get started, we’ll need a current, valid eyeglass prescription that includes your name, prescribing optometrist’s signature, prescription expiration date, and all relevant optical measurements. We also highly recommend asking your eye doctor for your PD (Pupillary Distance) measurement, as this is required for prescription lens fabrication.

Is my Prescription within Range?

Because of the curve and wrap of our sunglass frames, prescription availability can vary depending on your RX. The good news is our available RX range is higher than many other sunglass brands.

If you’re unsure whether your prescription will work, simply send us a copy of your prescription along with your PD measurement and our optical team will gladly review it and let you know what options are available.

Can I use my Bajio frame?

Absolutely! You can order new prescription lenses for your current Bajío frame without giving up your favorite shades. Simply send your frame in and we’ll install fresh RX lenses using your prescription.

Want to use your FSA/HSA Funds?

You can place your order using any major credit or debit card and request an itemized invoice for reimbursement. Once your order ships, simply reply to your shipping confirmation email and we’ll gladly provide the invoice.

At this time, we are unable to bill insurance directly, so we recommend checking with your insurance, FSA, or HSA provider for specific coverage and reimbursement eligibility details.

What is the RX Repair Policy & Costs?

We offer repair services on Prescription Bajio sunglasses for broken frames and scratched prescription lenses. For RX repairs, we can only remake lenses using the prescription currently on file.

To get started, we’ll need photos of the damage so we can evaluate the repair and provide accurate pricing. Let's get you back out on the water as soon as possible!

What is the RX Warranty Policy?

If there’s an issue with your Prescription Bajío sunglasses due to a manufacturing or lab error on our end, we’ll repair or replace them at no charge. If replacement lenses are needed, we can only remake them using the prescription currently on file.

Because the lawyers make us say it, here’s the official fine print.

All original retail Bajío branded eyewear products are covered for the original owner by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the lifetime of the product.

This warranty does not cover damage caused by scratches, cracks, hinge damage, accidents, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or unauthorized modifications and accessories.

If a covered product fails due to a manufacturing defect, Bajío will repair or replace the product at our discretion. If the original style is unavailable, we may replace it with a reasonably equivalent style or offer store credit toward a replacement.

Damage not covered under warranty may still be repaired at current repair pricing and service fees.

This warranty applies only to products purchased directly through Bajío or through authorized dealers and retailers. The warranty does not apply to used products, unauthorized resellers, factory seconds, or reconditioned products.
